- Brief Description
The research activities are divided into:
1) Physics education research and teachers’ formation, mostly on normal modes of oscillations, electromagnetism, heat transfer, quantum physics and superconductivity
2) Physics education starting from informal contexts, in particular through the use of theatre shows, to increase students’ motivation and to introduce IBSE (Inquiry Based Science Education) in school practice. On this point, the research unit has been funded by the European project TEMI (Teaching Enquiry with Mysteries Incorporated), co-funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union.
