Measurement of surface magnetization, of the orbital and spin magnetic moment of surface atoms and of atoms at the interface between ferromagnets, between organic molecules and ferromagnets, etc.
- Study of the 3d Fermi surface of surfaces and nanostructures
- Study of the ultrafast megnetization dynamics with laser probes and FEL (free electron lasers), through the measurement of the vector spin polarization or the magnetic dicroism in the absorbtion of (circular or linear) polarized X rays.
