MOLECULAR BEAMS AND NANOSTRUCTURED MATERIALS (struttura)
- Brief description
-
The Molecular Beams and Nanocrystalline Materials Laboratory (LGM) carries out experimental research activity in the doman of nanotechnology appled to biomedicine, sustainable energy production, materials for robotics. The group develops and uses characterization techniques such as atomic force microscopy, synchrotron light spectroscopy and free electron lasers.
The group belongs not only to the Department of Physics but also to the CIMaINa (Centro Interdisciplinare Materiali e Interfacce Nanostrutturati, Nanostructured Materials and Interfaces Interdisciplinary Center) of the University.
The spin-off companies Tethis SpA and Wise SRL are borne out of the activities of the group.
