The Theoretical Physics group gathers researchers of the Physics Department who carry out research in theoretical physics and its interdisciplinary applications: the theory of fundamental interactions, statistical mechanics, the theory of gravity and strings, relativistic astrophysics, the foundation of quantum mechanics, the mathematical methods of physics.
Researchers from the Milan Section of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) also belong to the group. - Contact person
